if you read this [link] (which is a "dA submissions agreement for dummies" kinda thing)
and skip to section 3.5 i think you might be unpleasantly surprised. so there is not much that any of these artists can do, seeing as they have technically agreed to let dA do this.

I disagree withthis statement. I think its more of a clause to protect dA from vistitors taking art, meaning they are not responsible. Normal copyright laws would still apply. You are licensing to dA the rights to display (and in some cases use for there advertisments) but you are not giving up your copyrights and therefore no one can take your images and use as they please without permission.
